Playniac create thinky games. We’ve been featured at Develop Indie Showcase, Game Connection 2013 Selected Projects, IndieCade 2012, IndieCade East 2013, IndieCade 2013, Geek 2014, GameCamp 6 & 7 and Radius Festival. We’ve been mentioned in print, online, in television media worldwide and even in UK Parliament. We’ve won industry support from NESTA, Adobe and Abertay Prototype Fund.

We’ve talked extensively about how we design games in Develop magazine and at conferences including Develop (Brighton), GDC Europe (Cologne), Eurogamer(London), X-Summit (Toronto), Game In The City (Amersfoort), BAFTA (London and Edinburgh), Edinburgh Interactive (video here), LFPUG (London), TIGA Casual Games(London), Mochi London, GDC (San Francisco), New York Film Academy and National Maritime Museum.

We also run a “game about game design” Cat On Yer Head which has appeared in venues ranging from GameCamp (London) and GameCity (Nottingham) to The Museum of Contemporary Art (Los Angeles) and Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
